Course Outline

This course aims to give IT professionals key skills to enable IT to make a more successful impact on the business, by developing key IT business management skills. The course is divided in 2 parts – days 1 to 3 cover the management skills necessary for IT professionals to excel. Days 4 and 5 cover sourcing and financial management skills.

  4. Day 4 - Technology sourcing and negotiation
  5. Day 5 – IT financial management

One of the key features of this 5-day course is the practical nature of the training, based on years of running major IT organizations. Participants are encouraged to complete action matrices during the course, to ensure that the knowledge gained is applied back in the real world and not just left as printed words in the binder.

All delegates are invited back to the quarterly network meetings for a chance to listen to leading management presenters and share experiences with other IT professionals. 

The course is normally run using the facilities at Henley Business School and costs £2,950 plus VAT.
